Coalition Partners

California Early Literacy Coalition

The California Early Literacy Coalition–comprised of partners at EdVoice Institute, Decoding Dyslexia CA, Families In Schools, 21st Century Alliance, and California Reading Coalition–is committed to driving results through legislation that helps all children in California achieve literacy by the end of elementary school. Read their recently released Early Literacy Policy Brief with policy recommendations to help solve California’s literacy crisis.

Alliance for Students

The Alliance for Students is a diverse group of 20 state and local organizations that advocate on behalf of students, parents, community members, and educators in California’s public schools. We are united by a common belief that all schools and districts must address long-standing inequities of opportunity and should offer every student an excellent education that prepares them for college, career, and civic life.

LCFF Equity Coalition

The LCFF (Local Control Funding Formula) Equity Coalition is composed of civil rights, advocacy, community, parent, student, educator and other organizations that have worked diligently to pass LCFF legislation and implement accountability systems at both state and local levels. The coalition is committed to ensuring that LCFF lives up to its equity promise and focuses resources on helping remove the barriers that make it excessively difficult for California’s lowest-income students to graduate high school and succeed in college and career.
